Why can't I login after activating my account?

I've activated my account but can't login. Why?

The most common reason for people not being able to log in after activating their account is that they have not chosen a good password and have not read the responce on screen after activating their account.  Before you activate your account read "How to choose a good password".  Follow it's guidance when setting your password.
